Skinny Blonde asked:

I just signed up for a Paypal account. I do not have a bank account or a credit card. I have debt and bad credit my only option is a prepaid credit card. I heard the visa green dot does not work because the card doesn’t have the 3 digit authorization number. Does anyone know a prepaid credit card that works to pay a seller for ebay on paypal? What about Netspend cards? Please let me know I really need to pay a seller and a prepaid credit card is the only way I cannot open a bank account I owe the bank money from a past ISF.. please help me out

paypal uses any credit card that has a visa, mastercard, american express logo on it. Im sure the prepaid visa would work just as long as it has a visa logo on it and the 3 digit number. I know that there is an american express giftcard that you can buy at some credit unions that FOR SURE Does has the 3 digits on the back and it is refillable and you dont have to be a member to get one. Maybe you can go to americanexpress.com and check it out? Registering for paypal is SOOO easy especially if you are using a card! I have been in the situation where i couldnt open a bank account, i would definatly try to take care of that, because being without a bank is super hard. Take care of your debt while you can, because it is a huge inconvience (which im sure you already know). Just know that there is HOPE to all of this. I got a loan that was cosigned by my parents to take care of my debt and help me start a clean slate and now my credit score has improved 100 points. My notes for my loan is about 75 bucks a month. The bigger problem here is that you have bad credit! Your credit is pretty much your life. I read a book by suzie orman that has done wonders and helped me out alot. Goodluck!

I don’t think there’s any way to get a credit card to solve this in a reasonable amount of time.
I recommend you contact the seller to explain your situation and ask for another payment method; money order, for example.
Most sellers will accept any reasonable offer to make a sale.
