Okay I’m trying to fix my credit. The thing is I’m not qualify to get a regular credit card since my credit is bad. So I was thinking about applying for a secure credit card. But you see i already have one in-store credit card that is in good standing. I don’t know if I should just use my in-store credit card to improve my credit or get a secure credit card. help me please!

If you have bad credit, it will be a little difficult to find a credit card company that will trust you with a credit card. If you do find one that will let you have one, do not charge very much on the card and make sure you pay more than the minimum payment when the bill is due.
If you are doing good with your store card then keep it up. A secured card is not a bad idea to help you restore your credit. If you do well with the secured card, then it should be converted to a regular credit card after 6 months- 1 year. Good luck.
Of course you should get a secure credit card to help with your credit recovery. Just do your homework, and find a good credit card company, also try to save a nice amount of money for the secured amount, the more the better, and it will look better with a larger amount. If you pay on time, and play by all the rules you will get that amount back within a year or so. If you can’t come up with a larger amount, you can also add additional amount at later dates. Continue to stay on target with the only credit card you have in good standing. Keep it like that. Try to read everything you can about credit, money management, credit repair etc. this will give you a better understanding about the credit mechanism. Try to repair your credit while you a building Good credit. When all this is done, you will have great credit in awhile.
A secured credit card is a good idea. It will help with your score and show that you have more than a couple positive trade lines on your reports. The more good accounts you have the better. Just be sure to maintain them as best possible!
