Yours sounds like a situation where my advice would be to cut up all of your cards and get you finances back under control before you even think the word “credit” again. And I mean that in the most respectful way (been there, done that).

Sure, if you can find a new credit card company that will issue you a new card with a higher limit to cover all you want to transfer.

Of course, with bad credit, that is probably not going to happen, and if it does, you can probably expect a much, much higher interest rate.

If you have an active credit card, it may be. you would have to call your credit cards customer service and ask for what is called a balance transfer. Some can be for the life of the loan others for a specific time frame. APRs can be as low as 0% be careful though, if you carry a balance on the card the payments pay the lower APR first. I used to work for Citi in the creidt card division. That is how I know this information.
