Your best bet would be a secured credit card. They’re the easiest card to get because you place a deposit upfront. You can think of this as building credit with a savings account, because that’s what the deposit is linked to: a savigns account which earns interest while credit is established. Also with a secured card you have more control over the limit, meaning that the more you deposit, the higher the limit, which could in turn help your score because it creates a much needed cushion between the available credit and the total debt that you owe. Another advantage is that you’re also starting up a emergency fund with the deposit. What would you rather do, throw away $200-300 in fees to use a card, or invest $200-300 towards an emeregency fund that you’re using to build credit with right now. At least with a secured card, if you pay on time, you get the deposit back usually after a year. That deposit you get back can double as an emregency fund which you can use for later.
I posted several links to some secured cards that may work for you,
Good luck!
Pay cash for everything and stay out of debt. If you really need a card in your wallet, get a debit card. A debit can do everything a credit card can do, except land you in more debt.
Bad credit is one of the worst problems to have… however there exists a solution. I will hereby talk from my personal experience. I did debt consolidation a couple of years ago, however If I had to do it again I would pay to some minor details, if someone wants to get out of debt today it is pretty easy with a debt consolidation plan, however it may get a bit tricky at times,
I suggest you get as much information as possible online on this first, a good place to start in my humble opinion is astraight to the point ebook with question and answer I found :
