bigslowtom asked:
I have been divorced twice. Due to that and foolish decisions from my youth, I am left with a beacon (more like a flashlight) score of 570. Yamaha credit declined me. I purchased a car in March through Capital One, I have two credit cards with them (all are paid on time, ahead of schedule and way more than the minimum when I have a balance) but they do not finance bikes.
Any reliable sites out there to finance someone like me?
Thanks in advance for the advice.

don,t know of a site but a hefty down payment usually works miracles at the dealer……………..good luck
Big you might meet with a credit counselor ( some time free through various social services - try St. Elizabeth of Hungary. 570 isn’t the end of the world and 650 ought to work for Yamaha and others. See if you can’t bring your score up first before you meet with the “secondary market” bunch or take out a “credit re-builder loan. Either of those and you’ll be upside down for three years minimum. Be careful, its a jungle out there.
You might want to look into “Greentree” don’t know website. or do a Google search. I had not so good credit a few yrs back. I ended up going to my Credit Union Bank, and just asking “If i was gonna buy a bike, what could I get approved for?” They came back with around 6k. So I went bought an 03′ Vstar 1100 Custom for 6k with 3200 miles on it. If your one of those that’s gotta have a Harley..trust me. I’ve owned them and your not missing much. ****** dont even know the difference most of the time. Hell some guys don’t.Especially if you go with Star Motorcycles.
